Teaching at IT Step Academy

Since 2023 I have taught C#/.NET and Angular at IT Step Academy, designed curricula and syllabi — including a Business Process Automation course built on n8n and AI-focused tracks — and led lecturer recruitment and teaching quality across the Programming Department. I also build the academy’s internal educational platforms, including the backend for academy-wide final examinations.

Courses I designed and teach
C# / .NET Track

Backend fundamentals through production APIs

Language fundamentals, object-oriented design, then ASP.NET Core APIs with Entity Framework Core, clean architecture, and testing — the same patterns I use on client platforms.

What students build: Students build a working API with authentication, persistence, and a deployed front end talking to it.

Angular Track

Production front ends, not toy apps

Components and services, state management with NgRx, forms, HTTP, and the discipline of shipping: structure, reviews, and performance.

What students build: Students build a multi-page Angular application against a real API, with routing, state, and deployment.

Business Process Automation with n8n

A course I designed from scratch

Automation as an engineering discipline: webhooks, integrations, data transformation, error handling, and AI-focused tracks where LLM steps sit inside real workflows.

What students build: Students automate an actual business process end to end — intake, processing, notifications — with n8n.

How I teach

Production patterns from day one

Students see the structure I use on real client platforms — not a simplified classroom version they have to unlearn later.

Reviews over lectures

The fastest learning happens in a code review that explains the reason first and the change second. Every project gets one.

Ship something

Each track ends with a deployed application. A URL a student can show is worth more than a certificate.

Lecturers held to the same bar

I recruit and coach the department’s lecturers, so the quality of the first lesson is the same in every classroom.

Lecturer recruitment and teaching quality

Beyond my own classes, I lead lecturer recruitment for the Programming Department and own teaching quality across it: interviewing and selecting lecturers, aligning syllabi between tracks, and reviewing how courses are actually delivered. The goal is simple — a student’s experience should not depend on which lecturer they were assigned.

Internal educational platforms

I also build the academy’s internal tooling, including the backend systems behind academy-wide final examinations — the same .NET and Angular stack I teach, applied to the academy’s own operations.
